I’m looking for some old school Latin Saints who knew Joseph Rodriguez. If you knew him and/or know about his death, could you get in touch with me. Joe was a friend and a kid I was working with back in the day. I’d just like to know more about what happened to him.

If you’d like to meet up and talk over coffee or something, give me a holler, OK?

Once again, I have noticed a number of searches on ganglifechicago.com looking for information on the Spanish Lords.  You probably don’t remember, but I’ve met a number of you over the last few years, mostly in connection with Malo (Anthony Orsini) who was a SL and is now working hard to take care of his family and serve Christ. I’m really proud of him for his commitment to Christ and the fact that he continues to help me reach out to other Gs with the message of Christ. You might also know that the page at the top of the Website entitled Edgar’s Letter is something from Anthony’s dad, Edgar Orsini. You might want to read it. Once again, if any of you would like to talk, I can meet you somewhere like the Hot Dog stand, McDonald’s, or even the Barber Shop. I continue to pray for other SL’s such as Ivan who are incarcerated, but for the rest of you guys too, especially friends of Anthony like Noel, Raul, Jose, and Casper. I hope you all have the chance to meet the Lord of Lords. When you do, it will change your lives.

Hey, you guys from the Latin Jivers, I noticed several “Latin Jiver” searches on the website so I take it that some of you are peekin in at the site. Let me know who you are and what you’re interested in checking out on the site. I’d like to meet some of you when you’re out and about. Let me know and we can talk sometime. In the meantime, check out the Crossfire Videos (on the left side) and all the other parts of the website. Hope to talk with you soon.

I’ve been getting some hits from people wanting to know more about the Popes. I’ve met or communicated with a few old school guys from the Popes in the recent past, but I don’t really know many of the guys at this point. In any case, I’m always open to meeting new sets so, if you’d like to talk, or if you have some guys that need help, I’d be interested in meeting up with you all. Let me know.

This is a very cool story about a grandmother opening up her home to work with gang members. Think you’re just one person? Think the problem is too big for you? think you can’t do anything? This woman is my hero. She’s doing something, right here in Chicago, to stop the epidemic of violence that plagues our streets. Here’s a Shout Out to Diane Latiker and the Kids off the Block organization she runs in Roseland. Think you can’t do anything about gang life in Chicago?  Think again!  catch this amazing story at:

Hey guys-

I’m getting hits on this website from guys in the Insane C-Notes. I don’t know anyone from that set, but would like to get some time to talk with you guys. Let me now if any of you want to talk, as a group or individually. You have my ear, so holler at me if/when you think Crossfire might be able to help.

Ron

Hey guys,

I stopped by last week and gave you my card. I hope to stop by with some CDs this week. In the meantime, if you want to talk about things, let me know. We can talk over coffee somewhere near you. You have my cell phone number too, so call me if you need to.

Ron

Hey guys, I met some of you at Cook County this afternoon. I’m the guy from Crossfire and I gave you my card as we were leaving. The telephone number on the card is my cell. Your homey in Cook County won’t be able to reach me there since the guys in the County can’t call anyone’s cell, but if he wants to write to me, have him send the note to:

Btw, your homey can’t call me, but you can! Let me know if you want to talk.

This is a shout out to the Orchestra Albany. I’ve been up in your hood a few times in the past weeks. Would like to meet up sometime. God has you on his mind. You can e-mail me at rlg2@uchicago or call at 773.294.8849.

Hey guys-

You may remember me from the Gangs to Grace basketball league two years ago. I came with Anthony enjoyed getting to know guys like Nacho, Joey, and David there. I’d like to catch up with you guys some time in the near future. Holler at me when you get a chance (773.294.8849). If you have questions about Crossfire or the website, let me know.

I want to give a shout-out to the friends of Edgar Orsini who still might live in the Humboldt Park area. As you know, I was friends with Edgar back in the early 70s when I worked at Teen Challenge. I’d like to talk to any of you who read this note. I know guys like Fro and Popeye are still in the hood, so I’d like to talk with you guys and I ‘d also like to know more about guys like Wop, Tiny, and Lil Joe, etc.  Anyone know anything about Michael Perez, Cholo, and Sonny from the Ashland Kings. I understand Lucky was killed. Shout at me when you get a chance. Answer me here or call me at 773.294.8849.
